I've been using it for over a week now. I love it. It doesn't flare up my rosacea.I've used several brands of vitamin C serum over the last two years of so. Unlike most I've tried this one from Claireity Skincare has a gel-like constituency that I assume comes from the aloe vera element in it. My preference, however, is for products that have a water-like constituency which I find absorbs quickly and without the rather sticky and heavy feel left behind by thicker serums of this sort. The moisturizing effect of this product is quite good, however, and in my view its best feature. Like other vitamin C infused topicals I've tried this one also promotes a brighter complexion. I nonetheless have a some reservations about its other claims. This serum also has a hyaluroic acid component that's intended to reduce hypo-pigmentation, the main reason why I use such products (and fine lines according to its claims, though I'm happy to say this is not a issue for me for now). I haven't noticed much improvement in that regard thus far in the relatively short period I've been using it, about two and a half weeks now. Perhaps more extended use will change that but I have used other brands that reduce dark spots within that period. This is not a bad product and I would not give it a negative review but there are others within the same price range that I would give much higher marks.I've been using this product for about a week, and I'm still on the fence. I normally like dropper applicators as it keeps cross-contamination to a minimum, but it's nearly impossible for me to get this in and out of the dropper. The consistency is that of very thick aloe vera gel, so I have a hard time dispensing it. It kind of coats my skin and just sits there. It dries down to a slightly shiny finish...not greasy, just shiny. I would have guessed aloe vera gel was the first ingredient, but it isn't. I haven't noticed a difference in my skin overall.I went to the manufacturer's website and noticed this product isn't on there. They have a 25% Vitamin C serum listed, but not this one.Overall it's okay, but getting it out of the bottle is difficult for very little payoff.If you're a vitamin C serum junkie like me you might have expected something different. As we look for thinner consistency for easy absorbtion and creamy white or sheer in color. This serum is not it. Here's the rundown:- The consistency is clear gel like. This is more hyaluronic acid serum type than vitamin c.- The potentness is ok. Not the best. There wasn't much of stinging. I think the amount of HA is cancelling out the Vitamin C.- Overall the result was below par and expectation. I've done my usual 7 step beauty routine and this seemed to be the weakest link.Overall 4*This is a sticky jelly like C serum that goes on easily. It's got a bit of a tacky feel and stickiness where I can put droplets of it in my hand and turn my hand over and it stays in my palm. It absorbed quickly on.my face without the tacky feeling. So far I like it but the product descriptions says use this and 'drop a decade' - a big claim - and I haven't seen that yet. I will update this to a five star when and if I do.I already use another hyaluronic acid serum by Claire-ity skincare.This one unlike the other includes Organic Aloe Vera.So this product has Vitamin C 20%, Hyaluronic acid and organic Aloe Vera.It has no scent which i like.A little goes a long way. I used 3 drops for my entire face and neck.But its sticky and takes a little bit to absorb fully into the skin.That I believe is the addition of the Aloe.It does work well as a moisturizer, and it keeps my skin looking fresh!It didn't help or do anything for my acne, so I didn't notice anything extraordinary about this product because it says it will make your skin smoother. I didn't get that. However, it was refreshing and hydrating. I added it to my morning routine and used every other day.This Serum is very nice. I haven't seen the changes like it has been promised, but I have only been using it for just over a month.I do really love that this isn't so oily. It hasn't over serum my face like some others that I have used.If anything changes and I will update my review.
